The Challenge
The conditions in coastal areas (those locations about 500 meters from a beach or shoreline ) challenge the use of traditional materials such as steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and wood.Due to high humidity levels, winds, salty water, and wind-blown sand, even the best coated or galvanized materials may suffer the effects of corrosion in a relatively short time.
Corrosion most often starts in welding points or around screws when the protective anti-corrosion layer weakens or becomes damaged (during installation or general use).

Our Solution
Fiberglass or glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) presents a nonmetal solution with excellent mechanical properties that can replace the traditional materials and can whether the conditions in coastal areas.Compared to GRP, coated steel, stainless steel or galvanized steel (plus the necessary maintenance), will cost more in less than two years.
